Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m — NEW! — Genesis Bible Study ~ began Tuesday, September 17th, at 10 am in the Adult 3 classroom. This Bible Study is open to all. If you are interested in attending, please sign the list located in the Welcome Center. Bro. Michael Berry will be teaching.
Just a friendly reminder: Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024. That’s when the clocks “fall back” 1 hour.
If you have an announcement for the November mail-out, please email or drop it by the office by Tuesday morning, October 22.
Guns & Grub Event ~ Saturday, October 26th, 11 am, at Bro. Jim’s farm. Bring your guns, ammo & appetite! Questions, see Nic Purdy. Please sign the list, located in the Welcome Center, if you plan to attend.
The Call ~ We are collecting items for Christmas again this year during October & November for children (newborn thru 18 years, pre-teen items are especially needed). Drop off basket is located in the Welcome Center.
Trunk
or Treat ~ Wednesday,
October 30th, from 6pm to 8pm. Sign-up sheet is located in the East
Foyer to sign up to decorate a vehicle. We will also have a hotdog and chili
supper and will have a sign up for kitchen volunteers. We will not
have bible study that night and all church members are encouraged to
participate. If you do not want to decorate a car, please consider
donating candy to help ensure we will have enough to distribute to all the kids
and families that come. Candy donations can be turned into the Children’s
Ministry desk or a collection box located in the East Foyer. Please see Ray
& Kelly Owens or Jewell Anderson for questions.
WORSHIP MINISTRY
Our NHBC worship ministry is always seeking new and interested singers for our worship team and to sing during our offering music each Sunday. If you are interested in singing during this portion of our worship gatherings, whether as a solo singer or in any group setting, please let Bro. Michael know and we can get you scheduled. You can email him at [email protected] or send a text to 501-231-0865. Please let him know if you have a backing track (CD’s or flash drives please, no cassette tapes) or if you’d like one or more of our worship band members to play music with your singing. Also if you’re interested in being a part of our worship team, musician, singer, IT, sound, helping setup presentations for our gatherings, send an email or text Michael to setup a time to sit down and discuss where you might serve in one of the many facets of our worship ministry.
