“Celebrating our Faithful Journey” ~ Sunday, August 11th, will be a special day of thanks giving and praise to our Lord as we celebrate our 20th anniversary of worship in our new sanctuary! After a special message, we will share a catered lunch together in our fellowship hall and afterwards enjoy gospel music by The Kinsmen. Mark your calendars and plan to spend this very special day with us!!
Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. Daniel Bible Study – Michael Berry
Wednesday night Bible Study back on schedule! Greet n Eat ~Wednesday, August 7th, at 6pm. We will be serving assorted fresh vegetables with a little meat! Please plan on joining us for a delicious dinner and then stay for an informative bible study! Please let us know you are joining us by signing the sheet in the welcome center. The cost is $5.00 per person. If you want to pay in advance or have a question, please see Priscilla Tollett.
We are joining with Victory Baptist Church again this year to collect items for The Call (Children of Arkansas Loved for a Lifetime). For the month of July, we will be collecting school supplies (They have plenty of pencils). During August we will be collecting new socks and underclothing to start the new school year. Donation basket is located in the Welcome Center.
Sisters of Faith are hosting a lunch and craft day for the Student and College Ministry girls this Saturday, July 27th, from 11am to 3pm in the Fellowship Hall.
Sonshiners July meeting has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 17th, at 5 pm in fellowship hall. Our plan is the same as in July. We plan to honor our military people who have served or are currently serving our country. We plan to have an old-fashioned 4th of July cookout (in August!!) with hamburgers, hot dogs & all the trimmings including freezers of homemade ice cream. There are 2 lists for you to sign 1. if you plan to attend (add guests also) and 2. tell us what you plan to bring. These lists are located in the Welcome Center. Please sign by August 11th, so we have an accurate count. Remember to bring pictures and memorabilia, to share on the display table.
ABSC Women’s Conference ~ Saturday, September 21st, from 8:30am to 3:00pm at First Baptist Benton. The cost is $35 for adults and $25 for students. A sign-up sheet is located in the welcome center. Deadline to sign up is May 31st. Also, if you would like to go and cannot financially afford to, let us know. If any questions or to pay for the fee, please see Robbie Lagrone!
WORSHIP MINISTRY
Our NHBC worship ministry is always seeking new and interested singers for our worship team and to sing during our offering music each Sunday. If you are interested in singing during this portion of our worship gatherings, whether as a solo singer or in any group setting, please let Bro. Michael know and we can get you scheduled. You can email him at [email protected] or send a text to 501-231-0865. Please let him know if you have a backing track (CD’s or flash drives please, no cassette tapes) or if you’d like one or more of our worship band members to play music with your singing. Also if you’re interested in being a part of our worship team, musician, singer, IT, sound, helping setup presentations for our gatherings, send an email or text Michael to setup a time to sit down and discuss where you might serve in one of the many facets of our worship ministry. .

We know several members are good at art/painting and several members have taught the books of Bible to kids for years so if any church members would like to help with either of these activities, please let Ray Owens know. We always welcome any help that is offered.
